About the Author
Italo Calvino's works include Numbers in the Dark, Six Memos for the Next Millennium, The Baron in the Trees, Cosmicomics, If on a winter's night a traveler, Invisible Cities, Marcovaldo, Mr. Palomar, and Under the Jaguar Sun. Born in Cuba and raised in Italy, Calvino died in 1985.
