Synopsis

Three girls shared the same apartment in London. The former worked as a secretary; The second was an artist; The third, who went in search of Hercule Poirot to request his help, has disappeared believing the murderer of the other two. Now, in the midst of rumors about revolvers, automatic knives, and bloodstains, Poirot must show his habitual tenacity to establish, without any evidence, whether the third girl is guilty, innocent, or simply crazy. Another novel in which Poirot will be affected by one of his few weaknesses: to help young women in distress, something that always makes him accept the more complicated cases.
