Synopsis

Junos® Fundamentals is the official study guide for Juniper Networks' new JNCIA-Junos certification -- Juniper’s entry-level certification for beginners, students, people new to the networking industry, and experienced networkers new to Junos and Juniper core concepts. Junos Fundamentals also serves as an ideal textbook for introductory courses on Junos, as well as a companion handbook for many of the training programs at Juniper and Juniper partners around the world.

Written by the authors of several of Juniper's certification exams, this detailed book starts with TCP/IP networking fundamentals and an introduction to Junos networking devices, and then covers such Junos specifics as user interfaces, operations and maintenance, routing, switching and security basics, troubleshooting, and much more. Junos Fundamentals is an invaluable hands-on guide for people working with Junos in the field, and a must-have for anyone new to Junos or coming from other vendors' network operating systems such as IOS.
