Ultra Violet, a convent educated heiress from France. Salvador Dali, her companion for five years, introduced her to Andy in 1963. The book won the Deutsche Bibliothek Frankfurt Award, and has been published in 14 languages.

About the Author:

French born, Ultra Violet was exorcised, sent to a correction home, and then to New York in 1955. Her romance with Salvador Dali concluded with meeting Andy Warhol in 1964. She became a regular at the legendary factory. An artist, her work includes light, technology, and heavenly messengers. Her play, Tabernacle of Clay debates the innocence and/or criminality of Jesus Christ.
