Edgewood is many houses, all put inside each other, or across each other. It¿s filled with and surrounded by mystery and enchantment: the further in you go, the bigger it gets.
Smoky Barnable, who has fallen in love with Daily Alice Drinkwater, comes to Edgewood, her family home, where he finds himself drawn into a world of magical strangeness.
Crowley¿s work has a special alchemy - mixing the world we know with an imagined world which seems more true and real. Winner of the World Fantasy Award, Little, Big is eloquent, sensual, funny and unforgettable, a truly Fantasy Masterwork.

A very attractive and solid copy of this highly regarded title, winner of the World Fantasy Award in 1982 (and nominated for all the major genre awards that year). A complex novel, set at the start of the 20th century, an architect discovers worlds within worlds that are reflected in the house he builds - perhaps one of the first urban fantasy novels to gain recognition, thus the story is hard to explain. Lauded by many significant authors and critics. A difficult book to find in this condition, that looks super on the shelf in the fitted archival cover. Seller Inventory # 007620
