About the Author

Mary Cadogan is an experienced cookery writer with a wealth of experience in many areas of the food world. Before joining BBC Good Food Magazine, Mary contributed regularly to several national magazines and was a top food stylist specialising in food photography. She is also the author of several best-selling cookery books. Mary was appointed Deputy Editor of Good Food in 1993 and since then, in addition to writing her popular food features in the magazine, she has been responsible for ensuring that all the recipes taste great, work perfectly and are beautifully photographed.
