Ces esca drens une organisation uniforme et les réunit en un corps unique, dit corps de cavalerie indigène, qui fut licencié a son tour par ordonnance du 21 juillet 1815 et remplacé par trois régiments de spahis, un par province. Les escadrons sta tiennes dans la province de Constantine concoururent tous a la formation du 3° régiment.
