About the Author

Robert L. DuPont, M.D., Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Georgetown Medical School, was the founding president of the Anxiety Disorders Association of America. His daughters, Elizabeth DuPont Spencer, M.S.W., L.C.S.W–C., a licensed social worker, and Caroline M. DuPont, M.D., a psychiatrist, specialize in treating people with anxiety disorders.
