This practical introduction to data communications takes a "top down" approach that starts by first determining business objectives and then developing a system to meet those objectives. Updated throughout, the second edition features new coverage of network security, network management, enterprise networking and the Internet, Remote Access, and Wireless Networking. The business cases have been updated and more examples and actual networking problems have been added.
