About the Author

SUSAN WEINSCHENK, Ph.D., is Principal of Weinschenk Training and Consulting, which specializes in graphical–user interface design. She has over 15 years experience consulting and teaching with Fortune 1000 companies in the application of usability techniques to improve computer software. Dr. Weinschenk is a speaker at international conferences and was chosen as one of the Top 100 Women in Computing by Open Computing.

SARAH C. YEO is the Manager of Technical Documentation for Computer People Unlimited/Compuware Corporation, a consulting firm. Prior to starting the technical documentation department at her current company, she owned her own technical communications consulting firm. She manages technical documentation analysts on multiple projects and consults on documentation project management and on converting documents from paper media to online. Sally has written a book on project management for technical writers. She is a regular presenter at professional conferences and meetings and serves on the professional advisory boards for the technical documentation programs at two colleges.
