This is the 3rd Edition of what has, become since its original publication in 1972, the "bible" for aircraft structures. It provides a comprehensive, self-contained course in aircraft structures. Starting with the structural mechanics of aircraft, this book goes on to elasticity, aeroelasticity and airworthiness. Although much of the material is timeless, the author has updated throughout including new material on areas that have developed since 1990.
