From the Back Cover:

Praise for Women, Wealth & Giving

"In Women, Wealth, and Giving, Damen and McCuistion document the tremendous influence and power boomer women exert today in philanthropy. Their interviews and stories reinforce current research at the Center on Philanthropy and among researchers around the country that boomer women have the potential to change the world."
Debra J. Mesch, PhD, Director, Women′s PhilanthropyInstitute, Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University

"The book we′ve all been waiting for the untold story of boomer women changing the world and themselves through philanthropic expression. This book is both an inspiration to boomer women and a wonderful acknowledgement of the transformational role they have served in both the growth and diversity of philanthropy today."
Ellen Remmer, President/CEO, The Philanthropic Initiative, Inc.

"This book, written to and for women, offers a path to that golden intersection where informed ideas, feelings, and actions come together as a deeper way of life. Damen and McCuistion provide so many insights about the inner meaning of finances and philanthropy that I encourage both women and men to imbibe their nourishment for the soul."
Paul G. Schervish, PhD, Director, Center on Wealth and Philanthropy; Professor, Department of Sociology, Boston College

"Every woman donor and every development officer who wants to raise funds from women should read THIS book. It is a superb exploration and extrapolation of readings, interviews, and perspectives about how women think, feel, and give. The book offers a window into the realities of why women need to express their philanthropic voices and values. The development profession′s body of knowledge will be greatly enhanced because the authors have integrated historical, sociological, economic, and psychological influences demonstrating that women are, indeed, a high–impact constituency in the world of philanthropy."
Karla Williams, MA, ACFRE, author, Donor Focused Strategies for Annual Giving, Lead Faculty, Fund Raising School at IUPUI, Center on Philanthropy

"Women, Wealth, and Giving will release a wave that has the potential to dramatically impact charitable giving. While others have written books on financial planning and philanthropy, Damen and McCuistion combine insightful and candid interviews with valuable ′how to′ information. Women boomers are encouraged to explore what motivates their charitable urges and are given a road map to create and build their legacy a better world."
James N. Falk, President, World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth; President, Association of Fundraising Professionals, Dallas Chapter
