Gargoyle Books, IOBA

Book Description Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. Keeping, Charles (illustrator). First Edition First Printing. Unique retelling of the legend of King Arthur & the Knights of the Round Table through the eyes of Arthur's nephew, Sir Gawain, brilliantly complemented throughout with the "evocative" pen-and-ink drawings of Charles Keeping. A First Edition, First Printing, this slim (100 pg) hardcover has gray cloth-covered boards with red lettering to spine. Condition is Near Fine: just lacks that Brand New crispness! Completely clean, binding straight & secure, pages creamy white. NO writing/underlining/highlighting; NOT ex-lib or BCE. Flaws: slightly bumped corners, slight ding to bottom front edge, letter 'P' stamped on ffep, erased pencil price on title page. The unclipped DJ is also Near Fine, with just a teeny ding at bottom front edge. Photos depict the Exact book you will receive, never "stock" images of books we don't actually have on hand.
