This reissue, completely redesigned and reset, returns Louis Sullivan to its original size and restores the quality of its illustrations. It also provides, in Timothy Samuelson's Introduction, corrections of the biographical data in light of six decades of research, and, most important, an authoritative revision of the List of Buildings, including information on buildings discovered after the original publication and details of those subsequently demolished.
