Outline:- This book is in reasonable condition it does have a minor repair to the jacket >>amazon review The story starts in the US and moves to London at the beginning of WWII but although fiction the historical facts are correct. It is a huge story covering great characters. I was lucky enough to buy another of her books `Juffie Kane` in a charity shop. I had my doubts as it was printed in the late 80`s but again I couldn`t put it down. It tells the story of a `big` star and her life and friendships. There is no mention of this author on `Fantastic Fiction site so I don`t know whether or not she`s dead-> the publisher of this HARDBACK book is Macdonald & Co The date of this copy is 1991 booksalvation have grade it as Good and it will be shipped from our UK warehouse This book is from the Series.
