Fallout was a breeze to write, once I'd sorted out the central character, Greg Price. To begin with, I couldn't get him into focus, but once I'd caught the sound of Kurt Cobain coming from my son's bedroom, I knew the kind of person Greg was. I could hear his voice and could feel his attitude. He seemed to get up, stretch and walk about the place, like he'd always been there. I'm pleased with the way Inderjit turned out.
