Notting Hill is a unique place, quintessentially English, yet cosmopolitan and exotic. The different nationalities have brought to the area a varied selection of ingredients which have been integrated into Carina Cooper's everyday cooking. 'I love going to the market or shops and seeing what vegetables or fruit are in season, what meat looks good, and then putting them together and concocting something delicious'. Carina's fresh approach to cooking includes wonderful recipes for family, friends and business cooking. Notting Hill Cookbook includes a map and index, useful for both the local and the visitor, showing where to get flowers, candles, wine, food and goodies in the area.

... achingly hip. You have only to look at the whizzy, soft-focused photos and pastel-coloured graphics to see how aspirational it is. And let's face it, it is probably where and how an awful lot of us aspire to live, eat, shop, dress and generally hang out. Actually, the recipes are fun and not too complicated and if some are no more than repackaged favourites, others are quite original. For all its glamour, it is surprisingly cosy and will make a welcome addition to my groaning shelves. (Henrietta Green DAILY MAIL 19/12/03)
packed full of delicious treats inspired by meals eaten in Moroco, the Caribbean and Italy. (HOMES AND GARDENS)
Carina Cooper's recipes will change your style of cooking - she has adapted elements from diffferent cuisines to create original dishes that work in an English kitchen.
