Chapter on Self Management at Work (16) which includes topics of stress management, time management, and self-directed career management.
Technology Transformation boxes in each chapter includes information on high tech business, e-commerce and the Internet. These boxes also explain how these important issues affect managers and business today.
Internet exercises include web tips, world wide web searches, specific web site exercises adn discussion questions.
Interpersonal Skills Inventory: a summary of the behavioral skills relevant to each chapter are included at the end of each chapter to help develop and emphasize these skills.
Video Cases concludes each chapter. 16 new videos to accompany the book have been secured-mostly from NBC and a few pick-ups from the Management Series Videos. The video cases summarize the issues presented in these videos and raise topics for discussion.
Personal Skills Exercises conclude each chapter and provide activities that help develop specific skills and concepts presented in the chapter.
Team Exercises conclude each chapter and provide in-class exercises to help encourage students to learn from direct experiences.
