Jane Kurtz grew up in a small Ethiopian village, where she first heard this story. A former student, teacher and director of an American alternative school, she now lives with her family in Dakota, USA.
E B Lewis began studying art as a child at Saturday morning classes and now teaches and exhibits his crafts. This is his first picture book.
