Dinah Birch (Editor, Can You Forgive Her?) is Professor of English Literature at the University of Liverpool and writes regularly for the London Review of Books and the Times Literary Supplement. Simon Dentith (Editor, Phineas Finn) is Professor of English at the University of Reading. A former President of the British Association for Victorian Studies, he has published widely on nineteenth-century topics. Helen Small (Editor, The Eustace Diamonds) is Fellow in English at Pembroke College, Oxford. She is the author of The Long Life, winner of the Truman Capote Award for Literary Criticism 2008 and the Rose Mary Crawshay Prize, also 2008. John Bowen (Editor, Phineas Redux) is Professor of Nineteenth-Century Literature at the University of York. He is the author of Other Dickens: Pickwick to Chuzzlewit. Nicholas Shrimpton (Editor, The Prime Minister) is Emeritus Fellow of Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford University. He is editor of Matthew Arnold: Selected Poetry and coeditor of The Whole Music of Passion: New Essays on Swinburne.
