Robert Garner is a Lecturer in Politics at the University of Leicester and author of Animals, Politics and Morality: Environmental Politics.
Robert Ash is Chiang Ching-kuo Professor of Taiwan Studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies, London, where he taught in the Department of Economics since 1975.
Peter Ferdinand has BA and DPhil degrees from Oxford and an MSc (Economics) from the London School of Economics.
Brian Hook is currently an Emeritus Leverhulme Fellow, Visiting Professor at the Centre for Southeast Asian Studies, University of Hull, Honorary Research Fellow in the Centre of Asian Studies, University of Hong Kong.
Robin Porter holds BA and MA degrees in International Relations and in Chinese History from McGill University, Montreal, and a Ph.D. in Modern Chinese History from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London.
