About the Author

Dr Raj Kamal is currently Senior Professor, Devi Ahilya University, Indore. A PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and post-doctoral research fellow of Uppsala University, Sweden, he has about 44 years of experience in teaching and research. A prolific writer, he has authored over 10 textbooks and published over 100 research papers in journals of both international and national repute. Besides mobile computing, his other areas of interest include embedded systems, computer architecture and organization, microcontrollers, and Internet and Web technologies.
