About the Author:

Kate Gavino is a writer and illustrator living in Brooklyn. Her illustrations have been featured in Buzzfeed, The Huffington Post, The Paris Review, Flavorwire and elsewhere. In the last few years, she has attended hundreds of readings around New York in venues ranging from factories to cemeteries, chronicling each one on her Tumblr, Last Night's Reading.
