HOOD (Hierarchical Object Oriented Design) is a design method which is fully compliant with Ada program development. HOOD supports identification of an object architecture and leads naturally into detailed design where operations of objects are further refined. The HOOD method comprises textual definition of the solution, diagrammatic representation and formal refinement, leading to automated checking, documentation and Ada source code generation.
