"This well-written, relatively concise, and current book will find a home on the shelves of many nephrologists and endocrinologists. Because it is so readable, it should be useful for students, experts, and those in between. I know I will consult my copy on a frequent basis - an unusual event in this era of online material." --N Engl J Med, 2009
"All in all, this is a solid book that provides substantial up-todate information on endocrine aspects of the kidney. I will be glad to pull it down from my shelf rather than one of the true heavyweights to which I would previously have gone for this kind of reading." --Kidney International, 2009
"Written by multidisciplinary experts from several countries, this book is divided into 2 parts and 7 sections. A very useful volume. Each chapter is richly referenced." --Pediatric Endocrinology Reviews
"...Singh and Williams have clearly chosen their authors well. The experts responsible for each chapter are clearly very knowledgeable and did an outstanding job of sharing that knowledge with the reader. Very often in books of this kind the density of the detail makes the reading rather difficult. Not in the case of this monograph. The reading is easy."
