The second book in the new Driving Skills series from the Driving Standards Agency is clearly set out and in an easy-to-read style covers everything the young motorcyclist needs to know, from what the law says, choosing a motorcycle, to taking the test. Detailed information on riding techniques is included, as well as tips on basic maintenance. Although this book is aimed mainly at learners, there is plenty in it to interest the more experienced motorcyclist. The book is attractively presented, with plenty of colour photos and drawings. Because it comes from the Driving Standards Agency, it is authoritative, but it is written in an informal style.
