This Addendum incorporates material in Amendments No 4 to the British Pharmacopoeia. Monographs introduced to the Pharmacopoeia for the first time include the antibacterial agent Brompheniramine Maleate and Brompheniramine Tablets, the local anaesthetic Oxethazaine, Chlortetracycline Ointment, Co-codamol Tablets, Co-danthrusate Capsules, Co-dydramol Tablets, Ephedrine Nasal Drops, Occiprenaline Oral Solution, Standardized Senna Granules and a triple vaccine against measles, mumps and rubella. The general revision of the Pharmacopoeia has been continued and this Addendum contains edited versions of materials that have been published in fascicule 14 of Part II of the second edition of the European Pharmacopoeia.
