About the Author:

Michael Palmer is the international bestselling author of nine previous novels, including, most recently, The Patient. His novels have been translated into twenty-six languages and have been adapted for film and television. He trained in internal medicine at Boston City and Massachusetts General Hospitals, spent twenty years as a full-time practitioner of internal and emergency medicine, and is now involved in the treatment of alcoholism and chemical dependence.
