In his first book, front man of Slipknot and Stone Sour, Corey Taylor took on the Seven Deadly Sins, pulling them apart to reveal all that is irrelevant and wrong about the vices in the modern world through his own uniquely hilarious yet ferocious style. But in Corey's eyes that's not all that is wrong with the world today... From bad music, fame and infomercials to raising kids, sex and airport security, You're Making Me Hate You is the result of a one-man mission to demonstrate the alarming rise in worldwide idiocy, buffoonery and out-and-out disregard for intelligent thought., Rant-filled but eloquent, shocking but intelligent, this is bestselling author Corey Taylor at his most Corey Taylor and he doesn't leave himself out either... turns out he's just as f***ing stupid as the rest of us, too.

Review:
Examiner.com, 7/1/15
An entertaining read.
"Sonic Sound Magazine," 7/7/15
An enjoyable read that will have you nodding in agreement and chuckling at Corey s expletive-filled, but justifiable rants.
Popmatters, 9/1/15
Taylor s third book takes a critical and shameless look at the state of societyThe selling point here is his grouchy, comedic take on the human condition, but the real depth comes from Taylor s keen awareness and humanity. While nobody can be the authority on people watching, in his detail Taylor comes very close. his power comes from his wicked smarts and observational skills he calls, anthropological research . "You re Making Me Hate You" is a fun read
"Daily Eastern News," 9/3/15
Taylor is known for fronting the bands Slipknot and Stone Sour, but in his books he gives fans a more intimate look at his personality, which differs (mostly) from his aggressive stage persona Taylor does a good job of balancing his social critique with meaningful self-evaluation in this book this isn t just an entire book of complaining. Taylor also makes a point to impart some of his wisdom with advice on how to live through some of the irking situations he mentioned Taylor s tone carries a hint of smartass without overdoing it and is mostly lighthearted, though it s still guided by a grim outlook on humanity.
"Lithium Magazine," 11/30/15
An in depth look at just how stupid people can be. The book radiates hate and anger in the most brilliant way possiblewith humor. That s right, not only is Taylor angry, he s funny.
