Black and white photograph of author, as a mature man, to the rear panel. The first part of the author Dennis Wheatley's autobiography, from his childhood up to the eve of World War I. Edges with bumping of the book corners with the underlying board visible to the lower book corners. Age toning of the text block edges and pages. A faint remainder mark to the top text edge. Chipping along the dustwrapper edges and corners accompanied by a various tears, measuring from 0.25 " to 1.25", with associated creasing.
