Jeffrey Haugaard, a professor of counseling psychology and Director of The Honors College at the University at Albany (SUNY Albany), received his BA from U.C. Santa Cruz, and went on to complete his Masters and Ph.D. at the University of Virginia. His research interests include child abuse and neglect, adoption, and the causes of problematic behavior in adolescence.
