From the Publisher:

Chapter opening vignettes from Business Week Magazine. These recent, relevant short news stories show how chapter topics relate to the real world of business and get students immediately interested in the chapter material, which leads to active and attentive reading.
World of Business Week Revisited consists of discussion questions (at the end of each chapter) pertaining to the opening vignette that require students to draw from the chapter material for answers. As a teaching tool suggested answers to these discussion questions can be found in the instructor's manual. Multiple choice and true/false questions from the opening vignette will be placed in the test bank.
Internet Exercises (at the end of every chapter) require students to use the Internet to find information needed to answer relevant questions about the chapter topic. Ex. Chapter 3 - Going Worldwide with Wal-Mart; Chapter 10 - Motorola in China.
Internet Appendix - This section follows chapter one and advises students on how to conduct research on the Internet for international management. It includes a brief overview of Internet history; a description of popular browsers and search engines; Internet Directory for International Management; Helpful suggestions.
Skill- Building Exercises for International Management (found at the end of the text) can be done in class and reinforce part concepts: Environment, Culture, Strategy and Organizational Behavior/ Human Resource Management. 1) The Culture Quiz; 2) Using Gung HO to Understand Cultural Differences (or Siskel & Ebert Go International); 3) 'When in Bogota''; 4) The International Cola Alliance; 5) Who to Hire?
Cases- Longer end of Part cases have been added as a response to reviewer comments. These cases are designed for strategic analysis. Unlike the shorter end of chapter cases that can be discussed in class. These cases can be read outside of class and then discussed in depth. They further help students relate text material to the real world of international management. Part 1 Integrative Cases - 1) Brazil and Argentina 2) Israel: A Unique Member of the Global Community Part 2 Integrative Cases - 1) Ikea: Managing Cultural Diversity 2) Euro Disneyland Part 3 Integrative Cases - 1) KNP and the World Paper Industry 2) Cultural Differences Doom a Seemingly Perfect Alliance Between Corning and Vitro.
