Something is wrong in the barnyard when goats quack and hens oink. What could the problem be?

PreSchool-Grade 1 The barnyard is in chaos as each animal cries out with the sound of another animal instead of its own, for something extraordinarily strange has happened: Farmer Brown has laid an egg. The humorous madcap action races along to the climax. The story is extremely short and quickly told in a rhymed verse that is uninspired but that reads fairly smoothly. Each animal is pictured close-up and will be readily identifiable by preschoolers. However, the pale coloring of the large watercolor illustrations make the book more suitable for one-on-one sharing than for large group use.
