Formerly the Custodian and Head of Unit until the transfer of the collection to the Royal Armouries, Richard continues to provide a similar service at the National Firearms Centre in Leeds. Richard is married with two grown-up children. His hobbies include participation in all forms of shooting, travel, and reading, primarily non-fiction.
