Inspired by the teachings of Lama Zopa Rinpoche, The Buddha Box introduces the reader to the most important and well-known Buddhist deities. Comprises 45 beautifully illustrated cards, presenting each Buddha along with their major characteristics, and an accompanying book, explaining the history of the Buddhas.

Contents:
Included in this edition are the Historical Buddha, Shakyamuni; the Five Dhyani Buddhas; the Purification Buddha; the Healing Buddhas; the Compassionate Buddhas; the Longevity Buddhas; the Mother Goddess; the Wealth Buddhas; and the Buddha of the Future.
Each card represents a separate Buddha along with the prayers, meditations, visualizations, and special rituals and blessings associated with each.
In the Buddhist tradition each deity represents different aspects of the enlightened mind. This pack shows how meditating with a particular Buddha on a daily basis can bring healing, compassion and hope into our lives.
The accompanying book describes the historical background of the Buddhas in a clear and concise way and explains how you can integrate the Buddhist faith into your life.

Review:

Praise for The Buddha Book:

‘This is a very wonderful book with benefits for the mind, for finding inner peace, and generating compassion while learning how to benefit others and to love all equally. All these qualities can be gained from this book.’ Khen Rinpoche Lama Lhundrup, Abbot of Kopan Monastery Kathmandu, Nepal

‘In this book, Lillian Too brilliantly introduces the path to enlightenment by introducing readers to many of the Buddhas – emanations of wisdom, compassion, power, and all other positive qualities. Based on the teachings of her guru, Lama Kyabje Zopa Rinpoche, it offers us the perfect combination of spiritual authenticity and contemporary presentation.’ Dr Nicholas Ribush, Lama Yeshe Wisdom Archive
