Alan Hydes became well known after his TV series Painting the Stars, Blooming Art and Painting the Past achieved record-breaking ratings on Yorkshire Television. Alan is a visiting lecturer in Visual Studies at Leeds College of Art on the BA (Hons) degree course and is also a demonstrator for Daler-Rowney. Alan’s paintings fetch thousands of pounds and are in public and private collections worldwide. This is his first book.
