THE CHALET SCHOOL AT WAR
The Chalet School is on the move again. After a year in Guernsey, the threat from enemy attack becomes too great and the school transfers to the mainland. Luckily, Plas Howell in Armishire proves an ideal location and the school quickly settles into its new home.
THE HIGHLAND TWINS AT THE CHALET SCHOOL
Flora and Fiona McDonald had never left their island home until the war compels them to go to the Chalet School. Clothed in full Highland dress, the shy but strong-willed twins cause quite a stir when they arrive, but they soon make many bitter friends – and one bitter enemy.About the Author:
