Rude Rabbit is so rude! He calls Mr Flipper the Fishmonger “Fish Face” and he steals all Clever Cat’s toffees, and then he wonders why he hasn’t got any friends. Rude Rabbit decides that if he wants friends, he’d better learn to mend his manners... and everyone else’s, too!

Rude Rabbit shouts at people, nicks their sweets without saying “please” or “thank you” and generally rubs people up the wrong way.
Then one day he meets Honey Bunny and it’s love at first sight. “Gimme a kiss!” he shouts. But Honey Bunny is not interested in such impolite overtures and just sticks her pretty pink nose in the air and walks off.
Daft Dog suggests that a visit to the library might help Rude Rabbit improve his manners and help him make himself some friends. Rude Rabbit is converted and decides that everyone should have good manners – “And I’m just the rabbit to show them!” So he sets up the Rude Rabbit Rudeness Roadshow and goes on tour.

Review:
All children love characters who are a bit naughty and perhaps a little rude. Rude Rabbit would graduate top of the rudeness class, so is bound to be a hit with all children. He is incredibly rude and he upsets all the other animals with his bad manners and his insults. Then one day he falls in love the beautiful Honey Bunny, but she just ignores him. Rude Rabbit then decides that the only way to impress Honey Bunny is to improve his manners, so he sets about becoming a perfect gentleman, but is it possible for such a Rude Rabbit to change the habits of a lifetime?

This light-hearted tale is the latest from the pens of Colin Hawkins and Jacqui Hawkins who are well known for their humorous children's books; it is a lot of fun, with cartoon-style illustrations that young children will enjoy. --Miranda Warren
