Emma, Leonie and Hannah are all at different stages in their lives but have one thing in common--each one is waiting for that final jigsaw piece to slot into place, the elusive thing that will make them truly happy. Newly married Emma yearns for a baby. Feeling "infertile, barren, hopeless and useless as a woman", she also has to deal with a domineering father who still treats her like a child.
