About the Author:

Sister Wendy Beckett is a member of the Notre Dame order in Norfolk, a teaching order of nuns. She gained widespread recognition for her knowledge and insight into paintings, and is well known from her BBC television series, Sister Wendy’s Grand Tour and Sister Wendy’s Story of Painting. She is also the author of several books.
