Tony Outhart is Curriculum Manager for Leisure, Tourism and Sport at York College of Further and Higher Education. He has been involved in leading GNVQ Leisure and Tourism programmes since their introduction. An ex-professional footballer, he has also been a director for a company specialising in children’s activity holidays.

Lindsey Taylor is Course Coordinator for HND Leisure Studies at Yorkshire Coast College, Scarborough where she has also been GNVQ Coordinator for Leisure and Tourism. Before teaching, Lindsey worked as a personnel and training manager for Forte Hotels.

David Watt is a former lecturerat the Fife Institute of Physical and Leisure Education. He has been heavily involved in developing the GSVQ.

Ray Barker is a lecturer at Yorkshire Coast College, Scarborough, teaching GNVQ Leisure and Tourism. He has worked as an outdoor activity and events manager for Aquasport (Wales) and AcornVenture (France).
