Twice winner of the London Wheelchair Marathon and with five gold medals from the Barcelona Paralympic Games, Tanni Grey's story is one of outstanding sporting performance against all the odds. Born with spina bifida, Tanni has been unable to walk since the age of eight yet through sheer dedication she has become a top disabled athlete. This biography describes the obstacles Tanni has had to overcome to succeed. Her training programme is every bit as demanding as that of an able-bodied sportswoman, and her achievements were recognised when she was awarded an MBE for her services to disability in sport.
