About the Author:
The Collins Nursery Treasury is a collection of traditional nursery favourites for children from birth to five years old. Arranged in six accessible sections, it contains lullabies, nursery rhymes, play rhymes, songs, poems and fairy tales.
The contents are familiar and comforting, including 'Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star', 'Humpty Dumpty', 'The Hokey Cokey' and 'The Wheels on the Bus', popular poems by A A Milne and Edward Lear and well known tales like 'Little Red Riding Hood' and 'Jack and the Beanstalk'.
With beautiful illustrations by internationally renowned illustrator Jonathan Langley, this treasury is the ideal gift for young children.
Jonathan Langley was born in Lancaster in 1952. He studies graphic design and illustration at Liverpool College of Art and the Central School of Art and Design. He also studies bookbinding at Camberwell School of Art. In 1974 he became a freelance illustrator, working in publishing, editorial, advertising and design. His work is featured at the Chris Beetles Gallery in London.
