Lewis and Joy Davidman', was given the prestigious Gold Medallion Book Award. As consultant to the BBC film, 'Shadowlands', Sibley had an opportunity to meet a number of C.S. Lewis's close friends. In 1988 he wrote the much-praised BBC radio serialization of 'The Magician's Nephew' and 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.'
