Hi, This lot is an Original 1937 Hardback Wisden . It is in very good condition, the era of 33 to 1937 were not the best of hardbacks as Wisden swapped materials in 33, it resulted in poorer quality Wisdens but I am pleased to say that this 1937 is far better than most for the year. The front and spine gilt are excellent for a poor year, at a guess i would say there is some restoration to the gilt but it arrived like this as original but i'm not 100% sure it is, hard to tell. The boards are very nice and the hinges are very strong , internally a very nice book with a great photoplate. Hard to find in good condition, this is better than many. Condition=8/10.
