A very attractive, small folding brochure advertising the HOTEL DEL MONTE in Monterey, California. The 1920 date is taken from the copyright date on a photograph of the Hotel. Within the brochurei is a birdseye view map of the Monterey Peninsula, showing its relation to the San Francisco Bay Area. The beautiful upscale Hotel was in operation from 1880 to 1942, when it was leased to the United States Navy, which still operates its Naval Postgraduate School there.
