Hi, This lot is an 1865 Wisden , Rebound without the original covers, This rebind is from the K.Auty collection (google K Auty Cricket to see info on the pioneer of cricket in USA and Canada) , his collection is full of beautiful books, we have sold a few (search Auty on the home page and click completed) but alas the first few pages in this book were showing some wear and so I had them proffesionally restored, there are no facsimile pages just touch ups to the first few pages. The book is original. Details of touch ups : Title Page : Laid to card for strength, the reverse in the original is a blank page. Page edges restored To The reader/Contents Page : Page edges restored to all 4 sides, no loss of text. Jan/Feb Page : Page edges reatored to 3 sides, small loss of text under repair. March/April Page : Minor repairs , wear to page edge. May-December Pages : Wear to page edges very minor touch ups. Page 19/20 : Triangle Corner, no loss of text other than 9 of 1829. All other pages :Some wear to page edges. Apart from the repairs the pages are very nice and clear, in the middle of the book it is close to pristine pages, hence getting the front of the book restored. Price reduced to composate the repairs, without them it would be £2000+ more expensive, 2nd Edition. Condition=7/10. Seller Inventory # 389150
