About the author: My childhood years were spent on a rice and soybean farm in the Delta region of southeastern Arkansas. I graduated from Stuttgart High School in 1989, obtaining my BA in Mass Communications from the University of Central Arkansas in 1995. I worked in sales for many years before landing in the banking industry in 2001. When I’m not giving out financial advice, I like to spend time with my fantastic wife, Terina, and two exceptional children, Megan and Mason. I love to read and collect comic books. I also enjoy science fiction, movies, video games, tennis, basketball, & cruising. This book was created at the request of close friends and family who recognized significant, positive results from my frugal lifestyle. If I can inspire anyone to make a commitment to a healthier financial bottom line, then mission accomplished.
