The book's main character and amateur sleuth, British Lou Spencer, finds herself confronted with the apparently anti-gay murder of her co-worker. When her best friend is arrested, she is forced to investigate. The plot deals with hate crime, domestic violence, and political corruption at high levels in San Francisco, and presents an array of true-to-life gay and lesbian characters. I'm hoping to provide an edge-of-your-seat whodunnit, with a witty British protagonist and unexpected plot twists. So far, readers have told me the book is a real page-turner with interesting characters and a surprising conclusion. Enjoy!!
