This book is an introduction to recent thinking on, and experience of the Divine, reflecting the work of women from diverse contexts. Early attempts to move beyond the restriction of God-language to 'Father' language and to open up the possibilities of a more inclusive way of praying have led to a richness and variety of experiences of God and the world of the sacred.
